We are excited to announce that we have raised a total of £30,000 for Hospitality Helps Prevent Breast Cancer. The donation is to fund the new Breast Imaging Academy at Wythenshawe Hospital.    £27,000 of the total raised has been match funded by The Big Give this therefore means that the final total that we have presented to Prevent Breast Cancer is £57,000.  This total couldn't have been achieved without the support of  Permanently Unique Group, Gusto Restaurants, The Alchemist,... Anyone for Cricket

Tim Bacon Foundation was invited to attend the Annual Cricket match between Ian Edward and Paul Campbell at Harrow St Mary's Cricket Club. Play started at 14.00 hrs with 25 overs per side.  The play was followed by a presentation to Paul's team this year who took the trophy! A fabulous £2500 was raised and we enjoyed a lovely curry and drinks provided by Warners Gin at the end of play. Read More...

Hospitality Kicks 2024

25th June 2024 saw teams from the Hospitality Industry come together to fight for the Hospitality kicks 2024 trophy. A beautiful sunny day at Wythenshawe Sports ground saw teams from Gusto, Living Ventures, Barlows Electrical, San Carlo, Access Group, Permanently Unique, The Alchemist, Stange and Co, MHDL, GSG Hospitality and Manchester Hospitality Network come together. International Womens Day Hospitality Helps Launch

The 8th March International Women's Day saw the launch of Hospitality Helps.  120 hospitality personnel joined ourselves and Prevent Breast Cancer at Australasia for breakfast to hear about the new Breast Imaging Academy at Wythenshawe Hospital. Hospitality Helps – Prevent Breast Cancer

We have launched a new initiative – Hospitality Helps – aiming to bring hospitality businesses across the northwest region together to fundraise for cancer charities working in the area. Its first charity partner will be Prevent Breast Cancer, the only UK charity focused on prediction and prevention of the disease.  Around 55,000 women a year are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, making it the most common cancer in the country. Team San Carlo Sky Dive for Breast Cancer UK

A big well done to team San Carlo and Dave Mansbridge one of our trustees  for making the 15000ft jump out of a plane in order to fundraise for Tim Bacon Foundation and Breast Cancer UK.  Incredible considering the sky jump they chose is actually the highest in the UK! The Alchemist climb Ben Nevis

29 of the amazing Alchemist's climbed Ben Nevis on Tuesday for the Tim Bacon Foundation, Cash for Kids West Scotland and Chris' House.   Not only did the team at the Glasgow venue climb but others from the rest of the UK came to join them.   During the month of August an optional £1 on the bill was added to enhance the fundraising in the Glasgow restaurant. Gusto Italian race to Italy

During the month of August 8 out of the 14 Gusto Italian restaurants took place in a race to Florence and Back.  Strava accounts linked to Just Giving Pages meant that the miles could easily be clocked. Colleagues could either run, walk, swim or ride to Italy.  The team are a pretty active bunch so the 4134 miles to Florence and back was completed by the end of the month. Anyone for Cricket?

This week saw the annual Tim Bacon Cup Cricket match take place at Harrow St Marys. The usual captains Paul Campbell and Ian Edward battled it out on the pitch. Ian Edwards team batted first scoring 172 runs from their 25 overs. Paul Campbells team fell 7 runs short apparently due to some suspect umpiring. (according to someone on Paul Campbells team!) Hospitality Kicks – Raising Money for Hospitality Charities

A big thank you to Wireless Social for orchestrating this amazing event on the 27th June 2023.  Hospitality all came together with one goal to raise money for three hospitality charities, Tim Bacon Foundation, Licensed Trade Charity and Only A Pavement Away.
