The donation given to the Joshua Tree was used to support families affected by childhood cancers, it helped to raise the profile of the charity and is also helping to support an increasing number of new family referrals to the charity.
Rich Driffield, The Joshua Tree CEO commented, “It was fantastic to be supported by The Tim Bacon Foundation at the Dream the Impossible event in September alongside other leading North West cancer charities. We have seen a huge increase in referrals, with 90 new families accessing support in 2022. This donation will enable us to continue to offer bespoke programmes of support to help improve the emotional well-being of all family members affected by a childhood cancer diagnosis. We are hugely grateful for the donation.”
