It was lovely to be invited by Blood Cancer UK to visit St James’s Palace. Their patron the Duke of Westminster hosted an evening to launch their new fundraising campaign Trial Beat.
Trial Treat Beat, is their appeal to increase survival for the hardest to treat blood cancers. 70% of people with these blood cancers will not survive and, too often, die within just one year of diagnosis. Through Trial Treat Beat they are hoping to double survival for the hardest to treat blood cancers, from 3 in 10 to 6 in 10.
