The money raised during Dream the Impossible went into the pot that Gusto Restaurants have been raising with their partnership with Young Lives vs Cancer facilitated by Tim Bacon Foundation. The donation will help Young Lives vs Cancer be there for young people facing cancer and their families. The charity’s specialist social workers are there from the moment of diagnosis to help guide families through everything cancer throws at them and their eleven Home from Homes offer families a free place to stay near to the hospital.
“We cannot express our gratitude enough for the incredible support we received from The Tim Bacon Foundation through their Dream Impossible event. The passion and enthusiasm of everyone involved was truly infectious and thanks to the dedication and generosity of donors on the night, we are able to provide vital support to children, young people and their families facing the unimaginable challenge of childhood cancer. We were honoured to have been a part of this incredible event, humbled by the outpouring of support and inspired by the collective commitment to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. On behalf of Young Lives vs Cancer, thank you.” – Libby Welch, Partnerships Lead at Young Lives vs Cancer
