PETER MARTIN
Peter is one of the best-known and most influential communicators and community-builders in the out-of-home food and drink market. Celebrating 35 years experience as entrepreneur, columnist, editor, media owner, market analyst and board adviser.
He is founder of the Atlantic Club, an international network for senior hospitality executives. He is also vice president of CGA, the global data and insight specialist for the food and drink sector. Devising the Coffer Peach Business Tracker, the established sales barometer for the UK’s managed pub, bar and restaurant sector.
Peter acts as a strategic adviser to a number of international companies, and is co-founder and a regular columnist for the M&C Report newsletter, now renamed MCA. He also sits on the advisory council of UK Hospitality, the lead hospitality trade association.
Peter speaks and presents regularly at events in the UK, Europe and the US, and is co-founder, chair and curator of the annual Peach2020 conference and Hero & Icon Awards.
He became good friends with Tim Bacon after the Living Room on Deansgate, Manchester, won a best venue trophy at the Retailers’ Retailer Awards – one of the first of many accolades for Tim and his team over the years.
