We are delighted to have supported The Christie in it’s inaugural year by raising £500,000 towards the build and the equipment in a dedicated research room within The new Proton Beam Therapy Centre. Following the fundraising campaign a total of £5.5 million was raised by The Christie for this project.
The research centre will continue to look into the treatment of cancer with proton beam therapy. As a result it aims to improve outcomes and side effects of the treatment.
Patients are now being treated at this centre
