Brasserie Bar Co has pledged to raise £25k for the Tim Bacon Foundation and The Christie Hospital. Not being ones to do anything in small measures they have a three-pronged attack which includes an incredible charity challenge, a dessert donation and a musical ‘ world tour’.
The Mont Blanc Challenge
Six employees from the brasserie and pub operations will be chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to the summit of Mont Blanc – at 4,807 meters, it is the highest mountain in the Alps. Training weekends, kit and guides are all ready and waiting and the selection process of taking 25 entries down to the final 6 has begun. The charity climb will take place from 10th to 14th September.
A Dessert Donation
Money for Mont Blanc - £1 from every Mont Blanc dessert that is sold between June and the day of the big climb will go to the Tim Bacon Foundation.
And finally…The Pocket Orchestra ‘Mini’ World Tour
One of the company’s favourite bands, the Pocket Orchestra will be touring the Brasserie Bar Co estate over the summer, playing 30 venues for a night of food and music to raise money for the Tim Bacon Foundation. Entry of £30 will see guests enjoy three courses and a glass of wine with £15 going to the charity. The tour ends on 20th September at The Oakwood, in Alderley Edge.
